Paolo Annoni, a Turin-born chemist and passionate antique corkscrew collector, founded the museum when he moved to the Langhe twenty years ago.
The Corkscrew Museum, housed in a former wine cellar with vaulted brick ceilings, has 500 artifacts from different eras, countries and types on display, from the 1700’s to the present. The exhibit offered allows us to understand the origins of this everyday instrument as well as its evolution through the centuries.
